Sloppy Nachos

If you love Sloppy Joes and you love Nachos you are sure to love these.  I made a batch of sloppy joes and thought I would get creative and add some texture and a little spice.  

Recipe

3 lbs. ground chuck

1 Tbs. white vinegar

1 cup or so of ketchup

1-2 Tbs. mustard to your liking

2 Tbs. sugar

bag of Doritos

option:

onion

green pepper

Directions

If you are going to use the green pepper and the onion then you need to sauté them in a pan with a small amount of cooking oil.  Now add in your ground chuck and cook it until it is done.  If you don't want the onion and green pepper then you just need to skip that part and cook your ground chuck and then drain all the grease off.  Once you have done this, you need to put it in a large bowl and add your ketchup, mustard, vinegar, and sugar, and stir it all up.  Last of all,  you need to scoop a few large spoonful's of the sloppy joe mix and put it in the middle of a plate and circle it with Doritos and melt some cheese in the microwave and drizzle all over the top.  You could also do a casserole style and layer it with your Doritos, meat, cheese and then top with your favorite stuff like onions, sour cream, tomatoes or whatever you like.  The last thing you could try if you need a meal on the go would be to take some of your Doritos out of the bag and then add your meat and cheese and fixings right in the bag and don't forget your napkin and spoon.

Ideas To Get Your Little Minions Out Of The House And Exercising!

I don't know about you, but with all the crap there is to do on the internet, it is hard to get these little booger eaters out of the house.  You have to be creative, you have to be clever and sometimes you have to be downright sneaky.

Here are some ideas to get your little internet geeks into the fresh air:

1.  Hide their iPad outside.  

2.  Have a scavenger hunt and leave clues at random places.  Tell them if they retrieve all the clues and get to their destination there will be money hidden there.   Make sure there are plenty of places for them to go for clues, to assure they get lots of exercise.

3.  Pay them to wash the car.

4.  Pay them to mow the yard.

5.  Take them swimming.  Who doesn't like that.

6.  Take them to the mall.  Who doesn't like shopping.

7.  Take them to an amusement park.

8.  Give them an incentive to exercise.  Offer $50 if they exercise everyday for a certain period of time.  Maybe offer to buy them an outfit for exercising for two weeks straight.  

9.  Take them to an all day Zoo visit.

10. Take a camping trip as a family.  Go swimming in the Lake.  Have a bonfire!  Let them take a friend so they can walk around the place and talk.  Go fishing.  

11.  Take a nature hike.

12.  Go to a petting zoo.

13.  Go bowling.

14.  Go to library or Barnes and Nobles.

15.  Make a craft outside like a bird house or work in the garden together.
